Process

How window installation works.

Four steps on every job, so you know what to expect on install day.

Clearview job photo — installer setting a replacement window

Every job, in this order

  1. Walkthrough. We look at the openings, the trim, and what you want to change. You get a written estimate before anything is ordered.
  2. Measure and order. We measure each opening and order the windows to those sizes. Lead times vary by manufacturer.
  3. Install. The old windows come out and the new ones are installed level and flashed. Trim and finishes are closed up to match the house.
  4. Final walkthrough. We open and close every window with you, and haul away the debris.

Permits depend on the city and whether the opening changes. We talk through permits with you before work starts.
